I think we will have a black female vice president first AND VERY SOON.
And I have someone in mind!

Personally, I don't think we'll ever have either for the office of President, but if one of each was nominated by each major party and I had to choose, I would go with Male Minority, because U.S. politics is still dominated by men, minorities included (e.g. Obama).
Politics by its very nature, like math and science, lends itself to study and application by men much more than it does to women, so the chances of having a female as a U.S. President will always be lower than the chances of having a male minority become U.S. President, in my opinion.

I'm not ready to make a forecast yet. I will say that I don't think 2008 is the year for either. The Presidency of the US is a "good old (white) boy's club". I don't think 2008 will change that.
It is very early in the season. Probably too early to even say what I said. I realize I could be sitting here with egg on my face in about two years, only time will tell...

Definitely a male minority. Women are waaaaay down on the food chain. Our society's becoming alot more open-minded to welcoming people of different races besides white to make big decisions, but women still have to work twice as hard to keep up. I'd like to SEE a female take charge as president 'cause I'm sure she'd do a fantastic job, but you men are not quite ready for utopia yet. :-)

Going by history, black men were allowed to vote before white women were, so I would guess Obama over Hillary.
Of course, we could have Condi Rice as President.

well... hmm... let's see... I think history can teach us things... so who got their voting rights first?
black males could vote in 1870
women could vote in 1920
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sufferage#History_of_suffrage_in_the_United_States
but then again, black males couldn't use the same bathroom in many cases until the 1950s?
so I would say a woman, needs to be a conservative woman, but a woman...
