No. Americans are far to complacent and have too much to risk. We have sat back and allowed the 20th Century governement to remove many of our rights. They did it slowly, and it wasn't going to be much so we said what the Hell.
Take social security, FDR said it would never be more than 1 or 2 % and we wouldn't miss it. Now its at 6 1/2 % plus the employer match. If a person were to pay SS of $400 a month and worked until they were 70, calculating at 4% interst over the term, at age 70 they could begin withdraw $4,000.00 a month and just to break even they would need to live to be 112 or so. The worse part is that if they die prior to being about 110 the gov't pockets over 100,000.00. And yet the system is going broke. But we are comfortable in are happy homes and with our cars and are boats and TV sets and unless they do something really discpicable their will be no second revolution.
Now were they to try to take away this good ole boy's Deer Rifle they would have a fight on their hands but I would eventually lose.

I hate to say it, but eventually there will be one. If it's carried out by the same kind of wackos from the Soviet Union, it won't change anything. All we can hope for is that if things ever become irreparable, by the time we have a need for a new revolution things will already have been blasted to flinders. That way, intelligent people can rebuild the country along its original lines, modified to account for the mistakes that ruined the first one.

you're no longer completely incorrect. in certainty you're maximum emphatically superb. although, you're somewhat previous due. We already had one. And in case you have any doubts as to the validity of self- selection, examine the assertion of Independence. human beings have inalienable rights to control themselves. And interior the form that the federal government does no longer do what we the individuals set it as much as do, it rather is our superb and responsibilty to abolish it. And we did...properly, we tried. it rather is termed the conflict for Southern Independence, often mis-categorized because of the fact the Civil conflict. The trial of this superb, although, replaced into settled via wager of conflict. The Jeffersonian, constitutionalist, states-righters lost. The revolution failed. And as a effect, america have been reconstituted right into a clean Nationalized EMPIRE of united states of america. Our federal government is uncontrolled. in certainty, there is entirely one small strand of fabrics status between entire domination. And that strand is the 2nd modification, quickly to be eroded away.

Your government is already planning for one. There is already a contingency plan in case the people rise up or there is a need to impose martial law. The killing of your Declaration of Independence and its replacement by the Patriot Act is merely the beginning but was step 1 in the process.
Recently I have seen some very interesting films. Let me send you the links.

And THIS with Lou Dobbs, I just saw an hour ago. It will SHOCK you as it does me. None of us, Canadians, Mexicans, or Americans signed on for THIS!

If you plan a revolution, better get a move on!
Mr.Hicks, wake up and smell the coffee. Your rights were almost demolished and that 200 year old document thrown by the wayside with the creation of the Patriot Act by your beloved leader.

No, the system worked for 200 years, and changing the system is useless better to work with the known than the unknown.

Probably not. We're so big now that it's like a snowball rolling downhill. Everyone is hungry for power and in order to get that power, they must have money.
I know I sit and scratch my head about how to elect folks who have neither.

Oh grow up.
Corruption and money and politics go together like chocolate and peanut butter.
Even if you replace the current government and replace it you are going to have money in politics.
The USA is pretty clean compared to most other countries.
