How do I safely and effectively remove nail polish remover from my varnished table?

I want to remove the stain without stripping the varnishing off and retain the colour. If not, how best can I restore the colour?

First I would try GooGone and see what happens. If that doesn't work then maybe very lightly with nail polish remover on a cotton swab.

I would try with a little mehtylated spirit , on cotton wool pour a very little then wipe ,,then with a damp cloth wipe over and dry, this should remove the nail polish
