grammy's; song, record, album of the year? what is the difference?

i have been getting conflicting answers...PLEASE advise. TY

Album of the Year is for the full album.
Record of the Year is for the song/singer him/herself.
Song of the Year is for the songwriter

Song I believe is for the writer/composer of the single
Record is for the recording artist of the single
Album is for the collection of songs, for the recording artist and probably his/her producer.

Record goes to both the producer and recording artist.
