Hi, I got to the Goron Mines a while ago, and got as far as to finding the second elder goron, but when ever I save the game, after I turn the Wii back on it always starts me off to the beginning of the Mine, where I have to jump across and try to get to the room with the Alligators, is this how its supposed to be? I mean I know it saved because the keys are already found and all I have to do is go through everything, but it still annoying how I have to walk through almost the whole check point, instead of starting off where I left off. So my question is, is that is this how its supposed to be, or am I doing somethign wrong.

If you save the game anytime when your in a temple or any temple, it will take you back to the entrance when you turn the wii or the gamecube on. Your not doing anything wrong but I know it's a pain to start at the entrance when your half way done. It happens to me all the time.

Yes you are saving correctly when you save while you are in a temple it does put you back at the begining of the temple(annoying isnt it)

you need to find the saving chicken... well looks like a chicken.. in the begining of the mines there is a part that you have to go on some metal grates and you need to hit a switch with an arrow if i remember correctly.. well in one of the vases hides one of those chickens. can remeber the name of it... he will help you save to wherever you are in the dungeon.. find him and you be good to go.... he is in the begigning .. so break all vases, crates
