well buddy try eating a watermelon whole and then work it out your butt, thats about the closest i could come to describing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
on the other hand if you are serious well.... i went through it twice.
so that should tell you that women can take alot, first time i had 110 stitches and couldnt sit down for 8 weeks, the second was a c-section. just my luck the epideral didnt work so i felt the works!
did i go back a third time? no f in way!!!!
the contractions feel like you are being ripped apart, you push like hell til the hemerroids pop, then thank god its over! is it worth all the pain and screaming......of course it is ....just ask your mom

Well, I am 23 weeks pregnant, and it's my first. I have yet to experience labor, but I have seen it first hand. First of all, you are trying to push a watermelon sized object out of a grape sized hole, there is going to be some tearing. Or you can opt for an epesiotomy, which is where the doctor makes a cut from the bottom of your vagina in the general direction of your rectum. Thats going to be painful. Second, it is very possible of getting a broken tailbone from the babys head while passing through the birth canal. That hurts. I've had a broken tailbone.
If you really want to know, go to babycenter.com or americanbaby.com. It has a bunch of links and stuff to give you all sorts of info.

Ok.. here is something you can do to feel the pain. How about doing a split on the floor and have someone jump on your back. That would be kinda close to the pain. It is like a watermelon being shoved thru a hole the size of a lemon. We are having alot going on in our body for 9 months and then things getting flipped around in one day at the end of the 9 months.

It's along the lines of being kicked in the groin and then ripping it off. The labor videos are best-case scenarios. A woman's vagina has to stretch to allow a BABY through it. Remember, the average vagina is only big enough for a penis. A baby is considerably bigger than that.

If you ever had a stomach ache with cramps, just imagine it about 50 times worse and then trying to push something out of a hole that isn't as big as what is being pushed out. Imagine your skin tearing and it burning from ripping...well that is what it feels like. Kinda hard to explain if you haven't gone through it. But it is very painful and something that you cannot even possibly imagine.

i had a natural labor, not by choice BTW, the most painful part was hearing i couldn't have my epidural after 9 months of wanting it. nothing was painful about my first. i was so throughly drugged up that the dr.s had to tell me when i was having a contraction. of course i'm not speaking for all women. i have friends that have had 17 hr labors and longer. i was just lucky.

Well, I haven't given birth yet, but hopefully very very soon...39 wks and counting! Anyway, from what I've been told... ummm....hmmm...let's see... how can I put this in a male's perspective? ...Well, ever had to take a really bad $h!t? Like, REALLY REALLY bad? Imagine that..times 100, plus backache, some women get nausea, dizziness and hot flashes, and imagine the hole to your thingy RIPPING a little as you push a little human out of there!
...And that was the MILD version!

Have you ever had a cramp? Imagine it, tenfold, going on for more than 8 hours. Now picture this cramp in your whole mid-section and back. This will give you a tiny idea of what contractions are like.

Its the contractions. The baby coming out of the vagina really didnt hurt me. Once the head came out one big push and that baby slid right out.

grab your balls and squeeze and pull them as hard as you can.............................. sweet forming on your head? think your gonna pass out................. well that's not half as much pain as your babies momma is feeling........... The contractions are like charlie horses in your tummy that keep coming back !!!!!!!!!!! and major back pain. I had no drugs and got a 4th degree rip with second baby ( that's ripped open all the way) Took them 3 hours to repair me........ she was 10 lbs 9 oz, and I begged them to kill me.
