You can be kind and nice to people and not be weak, easy or a push over. Caring for each other is what makes our world livable. Don't dismiss its importance.
I believe that caring people have principles and integrity and there is no reason to think that someone who is mean and unkind is in anyway a better person.
The terms weak, easy and push over usually relate to folks not secure enough with themselves to show kindness to others.

I think that being nice doesn't show any kind of weakness. It shows that you're kind and care about being compassionate toward others. None of this weak, easy, push over nonsense.

Sweetie, not at all! Being nice to people is one of the best things you can do. It makes you feel good, and the person you are being nice to. Being nice is NEVER a problem- over trustin people- that is a problem. But simply being nice si a great way to boost your happiness and a friend's. It gives a certain warm feeling insode that cannot be made by anything else.
So if you are a nice person, keep being nice- it will never bring you down.
Just be careful who you trust, and who you give time to.
But as far as niceness- don't worry, love!

Being generally nice doesn't show that. But, don't be so nice that people walk all over you. That shows weakness.

I think it makes you vulnerable. People tend to take you for granted. I personally think manners set you up too. However, they are necessary. You would be surprised at the amount of people who take advantage of nice people. I think the trick is knowing when to be nice and when to assert yourself. Let's face it, nobody is nice all the time. And, that's not a bad thing. But, the world needs compaassionate people. Compassion is a gift and if you have it, you need to know how to use wisdom with it.

This is an excellent question.
I think people are really mean or leery of people that are nice and / or happy with their lives. I am as nice as I can be to people, based on me being a happy about my life, even though I am single.....but it seems that I get the worst from them. It is really sorta funny to me. Nothing they can do can hurt me...fire me...act as if I do not care or I have done something wrong, but it never ceases to amaze me. From all levels of society...rich people, good looking people, etc. I just do not have this great expectation of the next person....in life. I honestly think that nice people are treated bad.

No. On the contrary, it shows strength. It is easier to give in to anger or other negative feelings when someone irritates you or attacks you verbally or socially. It takes real strength to fight those natural feelings and show kindness. Not to say that its not good to ever show you feelings. Because it is good to have an outlet for your frustrations like hobbies or other activities that can take your mind off of the subject. So when you meet someone that is nice, think of how strong ther inner self is as opposed to someone who's always looking 'hard' or something stupid like that.

Being Nice can show weakness if your're nice all the time! Sometimes you should show you tough side so people can see that your're a good person and can be mean if your're pushed around

Being nice to some people does show weakness and they'll use that to their benefit. When you have an enemy then you should "kill them with kindness." They don't know how to handle that so then it shows strength.
