Drink something really warm, like a nice cup of hot chocolate, or some warm chicken noodle soup. Make sure your hands and feet are wrapped up too. Or, you could find a really hot guy to snuggle with! lol

Start with the 5 extremities: head, hands, feet. Socks, gloves, hat. Need shoes large enough to enclose the socks and insulate from cold floors.
Next is legs: sweat pants, long underwear bottoms, hose underneath a pair of pants.
By now things should be a little better. Next is the torso: sweater, long-sleeved shirt, jacket, coat
Lastly is the cover: must be WOOL, DOWN or fleece. My wife has a down coat - covers neck to ankles and has a hood. That works. We have a wool navy blanket that works extremely well.
This should be enough for inside, where there is no wind.
Where to sit: cloth sofa or chair. Not wood nor metal. Don't want to lose circulation.
This should work well for extended sitting. If you will be moving about some, remove some of the jackets, sweaters and coats. Leave the legs covered to minimize heat loss on the way to the feet.

get a heating blanket. Do you have a fire place?? When I'm really cold I turn on the fire and sit right next to it and I'm boiling in no time lol. Also an electric heater, we have a great one that warms the entire room if the doors closed and I get really warm and toasty. I do hate winter though, I get cold so easily plus I have bad circulation so my hands and feet are always cold even if the rest of me is warm. Anyway, hope that helps.

Agree with ThmasK but be carefull not to wear too much then the warm air will not circulate around you. When you come in from outside take your warm clothes off straight away. Replace damp socks with dry. I find candles are a better source of heat. Quicker that cebtral heating, fairly cheap, and add to the abience.

You are sitting too still!
Go out for a run, then have a hot bath, then put loads of clothes on, then get under that quilt sipping a hot toddy whilst cuddling a hotwater bottle!

-to reduce heat loss out your windows cheaply, put bubble wrap on the glass.
-hang up thick curtains. Open during the day to let sunlight in, close at night to keep warmth in your house.
-Paint your walls a warm cozy color like rich tan/cappuccino shades. It gives the illusion of warmth.
-get a small electric heater to put close to you so you can stay warm without heating up your whole house
-work out...cardio, aerobics, etc.
- hot bath
-drink some hot cocoa or hot soup
-put on some warm socks

Put socks, gloves, and a scarf on.
Keeping your feet and head warm are the most important, because that is where all the heat escapes from
