i still cant believe Anna Nicole Smith married that old hag millionaire.. i wouldn't even if i got payed...would you?

i honestly dont have anything against her at all! infact i feel sorry for her daughter and the fact she will grow up never knowing her mummy! she lived a great life for sure. i just dont understand the reason of marrying that man just for his money??? ugh.. too many women in the world like that,

oh my, you seem to think im slagging her of. i am honestly not! and i dont judge people by what i hear or see. it is unlikely that a woman as beautiful and caring would marry an old man, im sure alot of people loved and cared for her.

I don't think it's right to assume that just because someone has money and are older, they are unworthy of love. I don't know what the situation was with Anna Nicole - but I do believe she felt she made the best choice available to her under the circumstances. Everyone chooses their own path. I wouldn't marry purely for money - but I also wouldn't marry a person who could not provide for my family, no matter what a "nice guy" he was. Everyone has their set of requirements for a mate; some of them are more important than others. Each person has something about them we can learn to appreciate; it is indeed shallow to postulate that there is nothing one can truly appreciate in an old millionaire other than his money.

I totally agree with you here on this one. It is because they are gold diggers and know the guy already has one foot in the grave. They do it for the money and for no other reason but that. Nope i would not marry somebody just for the money. I would much rather marry for love as love lasts forever and is much more fullfilling then anything that money can ever buy! Great question and you are right the women who does this are very shallow and there are guys that do this to rich women as well.

Well, it is a free country. Rightly or wrongly, people in dire conditions put foods and survival ahead of love and happiness. To be fair, can't blame the rich (old or not) husband either.
There are books and studies that show that some women perceive power as sexy and that's why rich and politicians (congressman, president, CEO) have no problems finding targets for affairs. Alan Greenspan and Rupert Murdoch, even Donald Trump, are just more examples of powerful men with much younger wives. And these women are no dummies for sure.

Yeah I know what you mean. Some people have a different up-bringing. People do things from a survival mechanism, you know the deprived love-less childhood. Every ones morals and how we see things are different from everyone else. Someone once told me, if your foot cannot fit into that persons shoe, then you haven't walked their paths and lived their lives, therefore we shouldn't judge them. Its really hard though. I feel sad for her, she was a lovely looking woman, who probably given the correct goals to aim for, would of turned out completely different, she clearly did not like her life or was a very happy and content person. Hopefully now she has peace.

Was Anna being Shallow or SAFE? She has never been able to trust anybody for obvious reasons..how easy would it be to just assume that the only reason you are with somebody is for money and not love..money can't hurt you.

If thats your phot, you are a very beautiful woman, but please, if you had a chance at a billion dollars, please,,,,and remeber it works both ways. Remember Rosanne Barrs hubby, and even think, that for the money there are guys out there who would sleep with Rosie O. Shallow and sad, and it works both ways. But if your serious, then you are one of the few, very few that are hard to find and the best to keep,,,,yes, there are people like us out there....., but sometimes hard to find??

You can't compare your life experience with hers. You have no idea what the motivation was behind her marrying that man. It doesn't sound like she had a very happy life now why don't you let her rest in peace. You sound a little too self righteous.

let the poor woman rest in peace...........No matter what you think of her she has a six month old baby girl who is now without a mother who was incidentally, born at the same time as her big brother collapsed and died. Have a heart.
