I am with those who say let it go. Next year give her a note written on scrap paper saying, "This year you get exactly the same for your birthday as you gave me for mine.''

I have a twin sister who never gets me a birthday card. For years I have always gotten her a gift and a card or at least a card and she has never done it for me. She doesn't have her drivers license so I run her around all the time so it would be nice to get a birthday card to show appreciation at least. I know, sounds selfish. My brother and a friend of hers is in jail and she sends them a card once a month. Go figure!

It hurts doesn't it?
I've had that treatment off both my sisters for over 20 years
I have piece of mind that I get them a really nice present but little do they know that most of the time it bought in the sale at Poundstretcher!!
I assume you have at least one friend who does make the effort in giving you a really nice pressie on your birthday? If so, concentrate on them rather than your sister.
Hope this helps, good luck

Sometimes the giving works out far better than the receiving, put it down to experience and move on from it.

I know how you feel it happens to me every year it's not so much getting a present it's more that people didn't care enough to bother and it realy hurts. Have lots of xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to help you feel better.

it's her choice to give you something or not, my brother did the same thing, but a few weeks later he gave me a movie that he was waiting to give me because it didn't come out until a few weeks after my b-day, so don't worry about.

Let it go........they are people out in the world who don't even know where or when they'll have their next meal.

Let it go.
It seems very selfish to EXPECT gifts from others. And if the only reason you GIVE gifts is because you EXPECT them in return, then you need to reexamine your motives.

I would just let it go. Birthdays should be more than what you could get out of people.
