Ok, this is going to sound awful, and I'm not saying it's 100% true, but it is a possibility.
--Anna Nicole Smith refused to give the paternity tests, so she staged her death.
--She was also wanting to be "the next Marilyn Monroe." Marilyn Monroe tragically died a STILL UNEXPLAINED death at the age of 36. It's possibly that maybe she died to heighten her estate. I know that sounds ridiculous, but Smith wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. Her estate is already worth more, her playboy images on ebay have skyrocketed. Call me crazy, but so was she.
