Because his crazy family is an exaggeration of everyone in our lives that make them hell. (The only one I like is Robert because I always wanted a brother just like him). But I can tell you every word of those shows now and so I miss them. Peace. @8-)

My opinion is because he is funny...AND he points out the stereotypical difficulties women have with men (as quoted by a close friend)
