Clomid can be a great drug - but please make sure your doctor monitors you while you're taking it. While it can certainly make you ovulate, it can also affect cervical mucus and make conception impossible. In addition, it raises the risk of multiples - even higher order multiples depending on how well your body reacts... Good luck!

Hi i have just started my 1st cycle of Clomid I have 2 children and took the depo shot so I didn't fall pregnat immediately. 11 months after the last depo shot i am not ovulating. So I started clomid last night and am due to have a second tablet (50mg) tonight (am using cycle days 5-9). So far so good have not experienced any side effects as yet (the reason I chose to take the tabs at night). I am being optimistic hoping that the clomid will kick start my ovaries and even if I don't fall pregnant this time round I am hoping that perhaps I can conceive naturally as hopefully my ovaries will keep producing eggs after the course of clomid as i have no other issue. Goodluck Keep us posted.

I took clomid in Jan found out i was pg 2 weeks ago and began a miscarriage 2 days ago. So i dont know if the drug caused the pregnancy hubby and i had been trying for 4 years. Also dont know if the clomid caused the m/c as i read somewhere since the body cant make selection of eggs when on them that could be a reason for it. Good luck with everything.

I was taking clomid in 1998 I found out that I was pregnant in February 1999 now today I have very happy and healthy twin boys. I did not have a problem on clomid at all and I wish I could go back onto clomid as I would like to try for a girl or two. Good luck

I don't see why not. I DO have PCOS and was annovulatory also. Now, it did take six cycles, on the last cycle I was on the highest dose allowable. But I did become preg. with my oldest daughter. In fact, I concieved twins, but m/c one. My oldest is now 5 and a gifted student. I did concieve naturally(no fert. drugs) 3yrs. after my oldest was born. Good luck and best wishes!

My wife was on Clomid and Fertinex. She got pregnant with Quintuplets.
If you have multiples in your family, let them know upfront.
