why do women live longer then men?

They are biologically stronger because they are supposed to be - they carry the children in the reproductive process. However, the difference is shrinking. There are other factors, such as men are trained not to show that they are suffering, to "tough it out" as it were, and sometimes that means they don't see a doctor when they should, and wind up seeing a mortician instead.

supposedly it has something to with testosterone in men. As men get older, there is less of it. Supposedly this leads to them not living as long as women, but not too sure. I read it somewhere though.
