Yes and no. Carmelo Anthony by virtue of his stats should've made the last few all star games. BUT, the competition is strongest in the West so there are a lot of candidates for his spot. Another thing you have to remember is that players will get voted in based on reputation. Which is why Artest has never made the All Star team even though he is a great defender and 20 point scorer.

So shall we see Kobe Bryant Rapes a woman Lebron James leaves his group because of the fact they are dropping and Carmelo Anthony does no longer make the all start up group because of the fact he replaced into sticking up for his teamate. If i'm superb it rather is the 4th time he has been snubbed. If something he could make the all movie star game for the video games he performed over seas definite that dosn't count extensive form in the direction of the balloting yet rattling it coaches anthony merits to be on that group and that i'm getting bored to death with the N.B.A. Anthony needs to assert something.

He is an all-star now. And he deserves it. He deserved it last year too. He's leading the league in scoring for goodness sake, and he was in the top 10 last year too. Plus, he did the best for last summer's national team.

I think the coaches and NBA as a whole prefer players from winning teams and players who don't get bad press. The NBA is really trying hard to clean its image. But Carmelo took his suspension like a man, so I'm surprised he's not getting more credit.

Carmelo is going to keep getting better, and he is maturing to avoid bad press. So I think he's going to be in the all star game for years to come.

Well as of today carmelo is in the lineup. He is on the reserve squad for injured players. This means if someone gets injured he goes onto the squad. If carmelo would not have gotten into the brawl he probobly would be voted a starter or a bench player.

i don't think it was wrong, melo is as good as any in the west this year, from a scoring perspective at least. he was left off not because of a bad rep but because he missed 15 games and other players just as deserving haven't missed those games. stern picked him as a reserve and rightfully so, although sometimes 1 dimensonal by not being a great defender, rebounder or passer. he deserves to go because he's a star and he's having his best year on a pretty good team in the toughest conference.

i agree with the person who said that he already served his time. they punished him for his stupid decision to get in a fight so why continue torturing him? it isnt fair to leave him out of something every player wants to be a part of, especially when its obvious to anyone that he is a really good player who once led the league in scoring even throughout his suspension! haha. it just seems like the league is trying to teach him a lesson, but this is just ridiculous because i guess 15 games wasnt enough for stern. come the all-star game i hope the crowd boo's stern and his b****es!!

Carmello got dissed big time. If he played in L.A. or N.Y he'd have been in at least twice by now. You can make a case for Carmello being one of the top three players in the league.

Yeah, I think I read where the league's leading scorer has never not been put in the All-Star Game. He should be in. I mean...they put Shaq in...
