I think you can do it with a USB cable and some software, i know someone sells a kit to do this. google it

The easiest way is to use a USB memory stick. Although, the larger ones over 2GB tend to still be a little costly. Otherwise you can remove the hard disk and purchase the appropriate adapter such as a USB IDE hard drive adapter. Setting up networking tends to be a pain if both machines happen to have Ethernet ports.

You can buy a Ethernet Crossover Cable and connect the 2 together to transfer data.
Or if you have a router you can set up a network betweeen the 2 and do it that way.

You could accomplish this over a network...all you need is a way to connect both computers to the same router either Via Ethernet or Wireless (ethernet will be faster)

u dont need to buy anything just do it through aim (american instant messenger) at www.aim.com
1) download aim on the website provided to you above to your pc and laptop
2) create different screen names on your pc and laptop
3) select sent files on the bottom of the message window
4) then select either the sent file or folder option which ever one you prefer
that should resolve you problem.
