It really depends on what you enjoy playing.

Do you enjoy carrying the ball? How are your hand skills? Can you hold onto the ball when others are swatting at it? Hows your receiving?

And are you small, large or average for your grade? With that Forty time you have, perhaps receiver or tight end if your hands are good enough. Center is fun too. With speed you can be a good pulling Center, smashing Linebackers and Corners as you come around the line to spring the backs.

Can't say anything...

I was always bigger in height and decent size from muscle.. in middle school i went from WR to QB to RB and back to QB then TE.. As a freshman they started me at MLB and TE and i occasionally played DE. Last year they moved me to fullback and i was a hit, literally... over 900 yards, 16 TDs and too many pancakes from blocking.. yes.. as a FB. I'm 6'2 205 lbs and run a 4.5 40. And i also still start at MLB, which is my love. I love playing mic. :D The many advantages to playing 1A highschool football.. get to run over people on defense then turn around and run them over on offense

All of this means, you never know what you're going to be put in at unless you'r 6'0 250+ Your coach will assign you to different practices to determine where you fit. Just make sure you run in the summer and try to get adjusted to taking the heat for 2-a-days.. those are a pain in the.. yeah.. you know

You seem to be a versatile athlete from a physical perspective. I would pick a position based on your personality.
Or go out and your best at what the coach says to do and let him pick for you. He has probably done this before.

On offense I'd try out for tight end, or Offensive lineman. I personally think you should try out for linebacker if you have a little mean streak in you. I'm sure your coach will have advice for you based on the way you practice. Good Luck.

well lets see you dont have the weight nor the height to be a OL/DL .....so lineman is a for sure NO,,

You don;t seem tall enought to be a receiver,,,,,

But you are small enought and strong enought and fast enought to be a RUNNING BACK!!

your size and streght will help you run the ball....specially throught the middles gaps!

So yeah with your potential.....you just might be an amazing running back!

-good luck kid!!

-football is awesome!

Running back, if you're agile. You'll always have a chance to try another position as you progress as a player. What position player do the cheerleaders bang most often at your school (think about it). Be a players playa.

Tight End.

Blocking + height + speed = Tight End -- no doubt about it
