I love this Ghandi quote, but I think there are many Republicans just as peaceful as you and me . For the rest, I guess they are already blind ;-)

"A witty saying proves nothing. - Voltaire"
Do I think Republicans use force too soon?Yes,do I think we never should use force?Nope. This isn't a black and white issue like most issues.
Slogans like this dumb down the debate even if it's a Gandhi quote, much respect for him but you have to see that in his time and circumstances. What do you mean exactly, are you advocating pacifism?Total non violence? That idea is as absurd as trying to prevent burglary by leaving your door open and believe me I'm a peace loving guy but just try to see more than the fault in the other party's position.See the whole picture, sometimes violence is needed and justified. The debate should be about how and when and which standards we are prepared to cross to defeat which enemy.A plea for total non violence isn't realistic in this point in history.Maybe it will be one day, let's hope and pray.
And seeing you're so big on the witty sayings here's one for you.
Violence never solved anything except brought an end to slavery, defeated Nazi Germany and communism

I believe more importantly, why don't the liberals understand that our policies in the past of turning a blind eye to the terror and murder tactics of the Islamic radicals is what culminated in the events of 9/11?

Because, if we don't take action, the enemies will do more 9/11 to make the whole world doomed and the ones who survive will become the subject of Allah under Muslim rule!

Don't expect Republicans to reason. Their motivation is animalistic and base.

War/profit/authority/greed/muscle.
It's as simple as that for those types. SIMPLE!

We aren't taking an eye for an eye...we're taking a head for an eye and that's how you bring peace to the world, VICTORY
