I'm living in S. California where there's not a lot of storm.

I want to use it but our contractor says that it won't pass inpection for our new contruction.
The door looks very nice and strong. If you have use it, please let me know.

I have used a Larson storm door for outbuildings as a stand-alone door, but never on my residence. It would be tough to secure your home very well with such a door.

They call it a storm door in order to protect the entrance door. An entrance door will afford you the needed security in addition to probably passing your inspection.

I agree, they are a very good product. But the don`t have the integrity of a regular entrance unit. I have installed them in pool enclosures.
