One would hope we would have the wisdom to create a government that allowed individual liberty--including religious freedom.
As for pets--I think so. I'd love to see my crazy cat in 40% earth gravity! :)
As for Branson--I doubt it--but we could do a whole lot worse--look at Bush!

You and I will not be moving to Mars. Nobody will in the next 100 years, if ever. If people ever do move to Mars, they might be allowed to bring pets. We can only hope Mars will practice religious tolerance. And Richard Branson will be long dead by then.

Mars may be a very strict society, which frowns on un-tidy surroundings, but it is un-likely that you will see a sign indicating : No pets allowed/ No animals allowed. We can follow the religion of our choice I am sure.

I drove past Mars the other day. It smells lovely there. Just a shame its in the middle of Slough trading estate. If you want to take your pets you might be better to move to Burnham Beeches. Its lovely there and not too far from the Mars factory.

Who knows! Religion probably will depend upon what nation or nations establish the first colonies. Probably at first pets will be too expensive to allow them.

my idea... Stay on earth live as it is and let the newer generations 100's of years ahead decide on what THEY want to do?,
Problem is how are you going to get O2, and H20 onto a gas trapped planet that will need millions of year of heating to release its trapped gas from inside its self.. by the way how will you get food?, and This is where I think religion will stop... (humans are not supposed to go any where other than the planet they are born on{my opinion)

We will not be moving to mars! It is a inhospitable planet that humans would find very difficult if not impossible to survive upon. It has no magnetic field to shield us from the suns radiation. Our DNA would be mutated very quickly and rendered useless followed by a very pain full death.

Sadly, there won't be much atmosphere.
Hopefully pets won't be allowed as they would use up precious oxygen.
Religion? Far too contentious.....

The sooner you move there the better, and take lots more of your buddies with you.
