Depending where you are from Suspenders if from the USA and braces if you are from the UK. That confused me as suspenders in England are the things that hold women's stockings up.

They're called suspenders. They aren't belts though. It makes a Y shape in the back and the two straps go over your shoulders and latch onto your pants
