10 snooker balls of radius r. are placed equidistantly along
a straight line, originating from the center of one pocket.
The distance betwen centers of each pair of balls is d.
A novice player strikes the last ball with a cue in the
direction of the pocket and pots the first ball each he
perfoms the trick.
What is the maximum distance between the balls?
(assume no friction and no energy loss)
Please help, people... my dad promised to sign my DMV application if I get A on this assignment.

" need to know which pocket, the center or the corner, also the dimensions of the table "
make any assumption which makes the easiest solution or suits you the best.
Persoanlly I think these assumptions are almost irrelevant
