My husband rang at tea time to say he was stuck 15 miles away in bad snow. I wasn't too worried, he's a hgv driver, I knew he was safe and would be warm and had food etc. He told me he felt like walking. I told him he'd die of exposure before he made it home. He's just rung me, he managed to move the lorry and has now slid off the road and through a wall. He's still determined to make it home. Knowing he could have been safe and warm - I'm worrried sick about the remainder of his journey - whilst the car is only a material object, I don't see that he should risk having another accident. If he makes it home safely - Should I hit him with frying pan?

Yes, but try to do it square on the front of his forehead. Anywhere else and you'll probably kill him lol

In emergency situations, a person must make a fast decision depending on what the person sees. Another person, even a wife, can't see from a distance how dangerous the situation is.

If your husband has experience in bad weather, you should trust his judgment. Of course it would be stupid for him to risk his life but to leave a truck (lorry) in a dangerous situation is a very bad idea.

With what he has been through and most drivers not being prepared for snow in Britain, it would be really stupid to, and you would get him really angry because he went through all that just to get home, seriously if he wanted to walk it meant he wanted to get home before anything else happened to him.

Your funny. No, don't hit him with a frying pan. Ride him and give him the time of his life so he'll never leave home.

I know you want to hit with the pan but don't...give him a big hug instead. Let us know when he makes it in.
