I havent been weight training religiously for about 5 months now. I started to lift again today, and noticed that i have gotten much weaker. I am 15 years old, and was benching 185 reps of 5 when i was lifting, and today was having trouble with 165 repping of 5.Is this normal? will i get back up to normal strength?

Yes, it's normal - if you stop working out, then your muscles weaken because they aren't under stress.

You will gain that strength back.

even 1 week of rest can cause the symptom you list. keep at it and you'll get back to where you were quickly. at your age you should consider decraesing weight and increasing reps.
