because they can afford a good attorney that can turn a simple case of lets say dui into a brain numbing borefest, and ultimately cost millions and tie up the court system, so theyll go light and fluffy to get them out of theyr hair,all these people that say money is the issue , how so? how does a judge profit, judges in the us are paid very well and would not jeopordize theyr career for a few hundred $,

Money. Apparently you are still under the impression that we have some sort of real justice system in the United States, it's okay it's a common misconception.
