not reeli hard places 2 get into tho like ottawa who only accepted 5 ppl in that dept. in 2006, plus i need all sciences all maths and a 95 average... yea rite like thats happening!

The University of Toronto......Western University (London)......McMaster University (Hamilton)..... Queens University (Kingston).....all have opthamology programs. All of them are as difficult to get into as Ottawa's ... if not more so.....so I would suggest looking elsewhere ofr admission.

First you'll need to finish college with outstanding grades. Next, you'll need to get accepted into medical school. Even if you do well there, it will still be difficult to be accepted to train as an eye surgeon.

Keep in mind that people here are judging your intelligence by your poor grammar; they are making an assumption that you don't have the intellect to be an ophthalmologist.

My advice is that you do what ever it takes to follow your dreams. However, you should also consider a back up plan such as optometry.
