Closer to Vancouver as the crow flies is hands down UVIC. It is pretty far east in the city and near the coast line.

Actually getting there from Vancouver they are close to the same. You have to catch the ferry, and the drive from the ferry to either isn't really much different.

For location click on my link. Royal Roads is in Esquimalt. UVIC is on the boarder of Oak Bay and Saanich. Look at the Northern boarder of Oak Bay and look for the circle. That is Ring Road - UVIC.

Victoria is on an Island, which means neither are particularly closer to VAncouver as it is still a 90 minute ferry ride. The University of Victoria, is slightly closer to the ferry, but is also the most difficult to get in. You need at least an 85% grade average too be accepted

Camosun College is a wonderful choice, as you can take your first two year of university there, and they are completly transeferable to any university. It is also a lot cheaper. http://www.camosun.ca

This is a great website for locating things in Victoria

there's an excellent Uni in an rather marvelous city in basic terms approximately an hour and a a million/2 from Vancouver observed as Western Washington college in Bellingham Washington, country. A certainly super little city appropriate on the water, appropriate on the front to the North Cascade mtn variety.
