These diurnal lizards are omnivores, voracious eaters of invertebrates and small vertebrates alike. They also forage for soft plant matter, including greens, fruits, and flowers. Like most desert dwellers, beardeds spend the hottest part of the day in underground burrows and are well adapted to the cool desert nights.

Bearded Dragons make excellent reptile pets. With one of the best temperaments of all lizards, they are generally docile, and many seem to actually enjoy being handled. They are diurnal (up during the day and sleeping at night), which means you can watch them during the day. yea, all bearded dragons r nocturnal! i have a bearded dragon and shes great we keep her out in the house alot of the day so shes always walking around playing/ doing stuff. (shes very social) lol but at night when we put her in her cage she goes to sleep and sleep til around 10 the next day! hope this helps! =)

yes they are nocturnal. Why do they care if they are awake at night?? It's not as if they make a lot of noise...

No...they are always quiet. They sleep at night because the lights are off. They are the quietest pets I have ever had.
