I don't think that they see the connection between what they do to the environment, and the health of their own kids. They stay isolated from the rest of us, and they think that what they do to us doesn't matter: and they think it won't have any effect on their own or their children's lives.

They do care and work is being done all over the country to improve air quality. It takes time and a whole hell of a lotta money to do it. Just one simple little plant was over $200 million. We can get it done sooner, but the costs will make it near impossible for those on fixed incomes and low incomes to afford to heat their homes. There is a balance that needs to be considered. Why can't liberals understand this? I'll say it yet again, money does not grow on trees!

And how many goods do you and liberals consume that come from China? Is it because they are such a good steward of the environment? Or is it because liberals, just like conservatives like cheap goods? Do you ride in a car? Do you take your trash to the dump? This isn't a con/lib thing, its a greed/materialism thing. Now let me turn off my Korean made computer and get these chinese made headphones off my head.

Actually many conservatives like to help the environment, and just don't think that humans have that much of an impact on the changing world.

And Democrats scream about global warming while they run around the world in their SUV's and expensive fuel wasting luxury jets. Environmentalists want everybody else to conserve, but they think that since they are aware of the problem it some how exempts them.
You want examples I will give them to you.

Maybe you don't care to work for a living, but most of us have to, to feed our kids.
Would you please tell us how to earn a living without lighting our offices and factories, and even using a little power for the production and transportation equipment? We all understand that complaining or hugging a tree doesn't take much energy.

If you're so environmentally conscientious, then get off your computer, cancel your internet connection and start reducing the cost of generating power for you to be so ignorant.
