I was on www.thesims2.com and i found that you can make a bacement i dont really understand it so i was wondering if someone could be VERY spescic on how to build my bace ment in my deram home. Thank you very much

RE_FAN gave good advice--you need to use the dig tool (under Build Mode) and then build walls along the inside of the hole. You will then be able to build on top of the basement walls. Just to be safe that the flooring is even, you should use the "Room Wall" icon (it's the only other drywall option)--this option will even out the ground for you and build your walls at the same time.

You cant have basements but u do know the sims 2 cheats right???? you can get 500000 by saying mommy

yes... you have to dig with the dig tool, build the wals... then cover whatever walls you made upto the edge of those walls, then build on top... and it'll look like you have one...
