no, lol. This phrase was said by Rene Descartes, an enlightenment thinker in 7th century Europe. The phrase "I think, therefore I am" literally means that if you think, then you must exist. Descartes believed that the mind could not be doubted but he body and physical world can. He believed in Rationalism, a system of thought based on the idea that reson is the chief source of knowledge.
So, according to this quote, you are not a can of spam. This quote says that because you are thinking, then you exist.
Plus, how could a can of spam type in that question?

I think that what Descartes was try to say that thought required his existance. Not that thought made existance. I think he was trying to prove that his existance could be proven to himself by his thoughts. It did not however have anything to do with the existance of other things though. It is only about proving your existance to yourself.

You can think anything and be anything you choose...There great moments of our life when we do not think at all...still exist and perceive ourselves.. I would say I am therefore I think, feel, and many more....
