I did when I had a knee replacement. They killed the pain and caused a little uphoric feeling at first, then that went away after a week. Then I went to a lesser effective pain reliever.

It was then, at that moment that, I KNEW what is like to have an addiction! THAT feeling is not worth the benefits NO HOW NO WAY!!!! I'll never touch those things again no matter what pain I have!

I have never taken Oxycontin but i know so many that has and it is torn apart their families. I know of 10 people right now that have died of taking the drug in my hometown and 3 of them i knew real well.
If people are smart they will stay away from this killer drug.

My hubby took it for back pain. Once you start it is hard to stop - it is very addictive. It took a long time to get him off it.
