you need to make a folder on the memory stick under MP_Root, and your video needs to be in Mp4 format. You can convert to Mp4 using PSP video 9, just google it and download it, I'm pretty sure it's free. You'd better convert your "source video" to PSP format with some tools firstly.

The easiest way to upload video to your PSP is by using PSP Video Express, which you can find by going to www.download.com and using the search function.
It'll convert most video (.mpg and .avi) files to .mp4 format, and will help you to move them to your PSP.
