Its much too early to tell.
He is very unpopular, but that is common for war-time presidents.
Also, many of the most unpopular presidents we have had have turned out to regarded as good if not great presidents (Lincoln, Truman, Ford)

The United States remains, for the moment, the most powerful nation in history, but it faces a violent contradiction between its long republican tradition and its more recent imperial ambitions.
The fate of previous democratic empires suggests that such a conflict is unsustainable and will be resolved in one of two ways. Rome attempted to keep its empire and lost its democracy. Britain chose to remain democratic and in the process let go its empire. Intentionally or not, the people of the United States already are well embarked upon the course of non-democratic empire.

What's your definition of bad? He has made some very unpopular decisions that have had some undesirable consequences, but who doesn't. However, as president you need to always consider what is in the best interest of the nation and let personal opinion have little influence on your decisions. So the question is do you agree with the decisions he made and can you accept the outcomes. It's all a matter of opinion.

Here's my question to all of you here, would we be at war with Iraq if Bush was not president? I was watching the hearings on Iraq on tv today. The cost of the war is $660 Billion dollars. More than 3,000 soldiers have lost their lives and 70,000 have been wounded.

As far as a bad president... can anyone tell me what one great thing Clinton actually did besides show how desperate for a salt surprise his intern was?
no. Bush is looked at so negatively simply because he is current. In time people will just look back at him as another man trying to do his best.

nixan was worse. but bush is pretty bad. especially how him and his followers had all that influence to rig the 2000 and 2004 elections. doesn't help when the head of the company that does the electronic voting machines says he wants bush to win. isn't that a conflict of interest? lol. thats why florida and a few other states are doing away with those touch vote machines so they will leave a paper trail next time

Bush is so inept it would normally be hillarious to watch his antics, but they went and made the clown President.
That's not funny.
I don't know if he's the 'worst' President ever, but he's the worst President in my life-time... and it's surreal to imagine that any President could possibly be worse.

I think he is just in the worst situation a president could be in right now. I also think his time is up. God help us if Hillary gets in there.
