Your Valentine is a punk-skater ? Why not buying him some items to customise his skate ! You could also try coloured shampoo... or you could buy jewels that are especially made for men and that are not too expensive.

Valentines day is about love, not possessions.
Maybe buy him a cute box of chocolates and make him a lover's coupon book (depending on your age). Have things in there like, 1 free kiss, or whatever. Use your imagination.

It's the thought rather than the money you spend on it - try to get him a particularly unusual punk record, hard to find (time=romance) but not too expensive!

What do we have Christmas for.... yep its to celebrate Christ and to give gifts to each other and loved ones. For valentines its to celebrate love for each other so just be there for him and make a nice meal and wine in his case probably beer if he is a rocker what more do you want who knows the night is still young.

Skater? haha. then my idea of 'personalized m&m's' wouldn't work, would it? if he likes those candies, check out their website. you can order them with your own messages on them. or just get him a skateboard (this option is just a TAD more expensive) and decorate it. write to him and stuff on it. maybe.
