i wanted to be a Buddhist for awhile... but the lifestyle seamed to hard... not eating meat... alot of meditation... i mean i am sure i could do it.. i seriously considered it...
but the ONE thing that pushed me away from it.. is well.. i think its sexist. i mean there has NEVER been ONE female dali lama. plus i dont even think they seriously ever consider females for the test.... sorry, until i see a female at the head of this religion at least ONCE i am staying away.
also Buddhism isnt technically a religion. its more of an idea. because in Buddhism there isnt a higher power.

No, it's very hard though... and, by wanting them to stop, you have a desire, you are breaking the eightfold path...
