Club rivalry aside?
It isn't club rivalry, its hatred.
Its like asking if Gary Neville would fit into Liverpool's side, rivalry aside.
As a Man Utd fan, I respect Gerrard's talent, hate the guy, and I could never even begin to think of him as a member of our squad.

Carrick has been essential, if you watch more then one United game it would be obvious. Of course, if you had half a brain you would realize that he becoming quite the player.
Second, have you watched England over the last few years? Lampard and Gerrard has been a horrible combination. I don't know how long it well take people to understand that this two players don't compliment each other at all in the middle.

I dont think Gerrard can work with 2 Center Midfielders. That guy is right look at Lampard at Chelsea and look at Lampard at England. For Chelsea Lampard works with Michael Ballack and Joe Cole when Ballack wasnt there. Maybe some others as well. But I wonder why he hasnt been in the same form in England as he is in Chelsea. It's because of Gerrard hes just too selfish and can't work with other midfielders. I dont think he would fit in next to Carrick maybe he can work the midfield alone but I dont really think Fergie is interested in Gerrard.

Gerrard is one of the best midfielders in the world and I can guarantee that there is no team out there that he can not fit in the midfield.
In the national team his combination with Lampard does not work because the coach is not that world class or else they would make one of the best partnership we've ever seen.

Not along Carrick. Scholes is a great player, carrick is well over-rated hasn't done anything at Man utd. Gerrard is a world class player he should go to Chelsea and play alongside the one and only Frank Lampard.

gerrard would never join manu he is scouse through and through but carrick is more than welcome to join liverpool midfield alongside gerrard!!!!
