watching forensic documentaries on PBS 20 years ago...intriguing to watch..if not horrific..later when i was more mature, i learned to accept it as a part of life..i like watching the first 48 on A&E channel and those reality shows focusing on behind scenes in an ER or mortuary

I grew up on a farm, and things died all the time. At 3 or 4, I already knew that death was a permanent condition.

good Q. but I don't know. It makes me sad thinking about it. . the first real death I had to deal with was my grandpa when I was 9. It killed me. I haven't been the same since. I guess that was when.

i was young, maybe 5 or 6. for some reason, i thought people just kind of faded away. it really freaked me out when i realized that the bodies were left after they died, lol

When my grandfather died, I was 7. I really figured it out that he wasn't coming back.. I was devistated... sad for a long time.
