Why does dog gas smell so bad?

I swear I think my dog ate a dead rat or something cause when he farts I have to leave the room or Die.

Yeah - Animals farts they r potent! What do U feed the dog? There is brand of food that prevents gas called "Dave's". How 'bout GasX.
