Once I get rid of my acne, I want to have a really good, top of the line ( non cheapy) concealer and possibly a foundation. I also want some good quality eye shadow as well. I've spent too many years wearing cheap make-up and I know it's not good for my skin. I'm willing to pay ANYTHING for the right make-up. I want good quality, top of the line make-up. No cover girl or any of that crap ( no offense to those who wear it)

Also, what will I need to wear under the make-up for my skin? I have oily ( really oily skin) by the way.

There are a few out there depending on what you are looking for. You can go to a department store and a few brands Lancome, Clinique, MAC to name a few. Most cosmetic companies are owned by the same company for example Lancone, L'Oreal and Maybelline are owned by the same company.

I teach skin care for Mary Kay and we have been the #1 selling brand of skin care and color cosmetics for 13 year ( you can do a goggle search of that to confirm). With Mary Kay not only do you get quality product you get a free service and 2100% guarantee. Consultants sit down with you to help you get the right look, shade, skin care or whatever you need.
Feel free to look around on my website or use the consultant locator to find one near you.

MAC.
No doubt about it.
You should not worry so much about what goes on under your make up (although primer might not be a good choice for you, tends to get cakey)...You need to make sure to invest in a good skin care line and MAC has a great one. I would try their Green Gel Cleanser since you have oily skin. Most people think that since they have oily skin, they shouldn't use moisturizer...so not true! Try their Oil Control Lotion it's lightweight AND the bonus is that you can use it under your make up. Their are many different kinds of concealers as well, and going to the MAC store or MAC counter at a department store, the artists will help you find the right one, maybe a tinted moisturizer...? And try Studio Fix as your foundation, all skin types swear by it, I promise!
Oh, and to answer your question about the eye shadow~MAC is known to have the highest pigment in their shadows, you can try a Paint underneath if you really want to make the color pop.

I recommend going to a large department store and make appointments to have your makeup done for free- which they do because after they put the makeup on they want you to buy it. But because your skin is oily you have to wear the makeup a couple of hours to see how your face reacts. Some make up may just absorb and fade away while another can make you more oily looking. So try Clinique, Perscriptives, Lancome, Estee Lauder, MAC, Bare Minerals just to name a few. I mix products- I love Lancome mascara and lengthner- Perscriptives foundation and Clinque lipsticks, I still haven't found a eye shadow I like. Oh Mary Kay is another thought my mom & sister love it.

Well, I don't know how much you are talking about when you say 'non cheapy' but I use MAC make-up products. Have been for a little over a year now.
It lasts a long time, you can go to any mall (just about) and purchase it. And they have a plethora of colors to choose from. The prices arent' expensive, but they are not pharmacy or Wal-Mart cheap either. I even had a MAC make-up artist for my wedding, and all the bridesmaids and my Mom used it. And now that's all they buy!

Hope that helped ya.

If you have an acne problem you should try Clinique. Its the only one that doesn't make my daughters skin break out. She likes Mac eyeshadow, Both at Nordstrom's or Macy's. Dermalogica oil control lotion or active moist. Most beauty supply stores carry small bottles to try. Their Clay Cleanser works good for washing your face.

MAC does fabulous concelars, foundations, and eyeshadows. For eyeshadow I really like anything by Urban Decay, Hard Candy, or Too Face. To keep makeup in place get a really good makeup primer.

if you are serious about your skin, you should consult a beauty consultant, since the beauty of skin begins with the cleansing process. As for brands, it's really more of a trial and error thing. I could say Clinique, they have a line specialized in young skins, but you are better off asking at their counter, in any big department store.

i would definetly recommend mineral makeup... especially if you are acne prone, you can still wear it... check out www.pureminerals.com theyr about $ 25 for foundation , but the stuff is awesome . ive been using it for about 10 years...long before it got popular, fantastic stuff, doesnt clog pores and so easy to use. i use any eyeshadow i want, but pureminerals has their own line of everything... cleansers eyeshadow blush... youll love the product. and for the price(ive paid lots of $$$ for lancom and clinique) this is mid range and the best!!!
this isnt like anything you ever tried... its like powder and you apply it with a brush... just try it... you wont be disappointed!!!

Well, i would recommend M.A.C. company. You cna even tell by going into a macys and seeing a mac store there that it is top brand. They have pretty eyeshadow colors.

For your skin i would recommend conseler and founation form CLinique(which is also i Macys). They have great options and try out some of their skin products such as daily cleansing scrub and all sorts of things.

Good Luck!
