I for one do, at least with that ridiculous lineup Macca put out Wednesday. The U21s have pace and width and are strong in the middle. The seniors were hopeless for the most part, until the late subs came on and we finally looked like scoring (I loved Barton, Barry, and Downing).

The Senior squad might be under-achieving, but don't over react here.

The top English side would demolish the U21s, simply as that.

That being said though, this scenario makes no sence. The best players available to England under the age of 21 (ie, Lennon, Richards, Downing, hell, even Rooney!) would all be called up to the England side.

Might be a good idea though; maybe the senior side would gain a little confidence by wipping the floor with the youngsters.
