What a terrific idea. It would be easier to know the approx. ages of your parents though. But here's a few that are incredibly romantic no matter what the age:

"Tin Pan Alley" - by Stevie Ray Vaughn (the kind of blues that just crawls under your skin and takes your breath away - THIS is the song to slow dance to!)

"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" - Roberta Flack

"Brown Eyed Girl" - by CCR (upbeat 70's rock)

"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" - Aerosmith

"Turn Me On" - Norah Jones

"Midnight Train to Georgia" - by Ani deFranco and the Indigo Girls

"I'll Stand by You" - Bonnie Raitt

"Everything I Do" - Bryan Adams

"I'm Your Man" - Leonard Cohan

"At Last" - Etta James (old beautiful blues)

"Some Kind of Wonderful" - Grand Funk Railroad

"You Are So Beautiful" - Joe Cocker

"Have I Told You Lately" - Rod Stewart

"Let's Stay Together" - Al Green

"Somebody To Love" - Queen

Have Fun! :o)

can not help you with the nutrition, yet as for music, oldies can fairly bit a success for the romantic cases. "Time after Time", "Ava Adelle", something from Roy Orbison or Don McLean ("Vincent", and that i consistently concept "American Pie" became good). Even slightly romantic Elvis stuff is enormous. good luck!
