my ex just died and every one thinks i was made at him,how do i get every one to believe me?

What do you care what people think? Just be yourself. When my ex died, I didn't go to the funeral. Not because I was mad at him but simply because he meant nothing to me so there was no point in going "to pay my respects."

Honestly...who cares what other people think. It is also your time to grieve if that is what you need to do. Just because people end a relationship does not mean that they 100% stop caring about each other or wish ill will on them. Did your ex know that you were not upset at him??? Because that is all that really matters. I am sorry for his family's loss and yours as well!

you should not care what everyone else thinks.
you know the truth, that's all that matters. people will continue to judge you no matter what you do, so just get on with your life and don't worry about it.
i tried so hard for years to please my family and nothing i did satisfied them-- they all found (find) fault.
i was president of FHA , i was the first to have the grand kids (male of course) i made sure my family was all there for Sunday dinners at the parents. etc..etc..etc..
i finally got to the place i just said f*ck it and them. i am sick and tired of trying to please everyone else.
take my advice and try it-----you will feel better.

you can't change people's minds. the most important thing is how you really felt about him. don't worry about what others say. i had an ex die. it was rough but i made it thru. he was the sweetest man but we had our differences. every once in awhile i dream about him. you will always have the memories.

Don't worry about other people. If you were not mad at him you know within your heart and thats the only thing that matters. Sorry for you loss but blow those other people off.

im sorry about your ex dying my kids dad my ex got killed tearing down a house i didn't go to the funeral because i didn't want to pretend i cared i mean i didn't hate him but we didn't have a good marrige i exsplained to my kids thier grown

You can't get people to believe something they don't want to. Just don't fight about it anymore then they might realize you were right.

Well, were you mad at him? If not, express condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. Do not try to justify youself.

why is everyone focused on how you and he left things it is really none of their beeswax!! anyway shouldn't they be focused on him and the good times:) if you know the truth then that is all that matters:)
