Boot in Safe Mode with f8 then Start - Run - msconfig. In the Startup tab find out what's running that's causing your problem and uncheck the box - Apply - and reboot.

"Analyzing Network Media Type" is not a standard Windows message on boot. That means you have some type of program that is hanging on startup, which crashes your computer every time you boot.
Start in safe mode (f8 while the system starts). From there, open a command prompt (start-run- type "cmd") and type msconfig. There are two places to look... services and startup. Begin with startup. Look for anything suspicious, particularly an installation program (.msi, etc.). Uncheck everything your not absolutely sure of (you can uncheck them later). Then restart.

It's a process of elimination. You keep adding programs back to the startup until you find the one that hangs you. That's the one you disable.

If it's not in the startup group, its in services. Hide all Microsoft services, then go through the same routine, unchecking boxes till you find the culprit.

If your computer is new (2 yrs or newer) almost all major retailers come with a free manufacturer warrentee. If your computer is this new, try looking up on google.com, and type in the name of your computer maker, and call the manufacturer. I use mine all the time....I know what you're going through. If all else fails...get a new computer. Hope I was worth your time.
