Depends on how jealous your partner gets. I am assuming you turned down the invitation fromt he other person?
I would either let it go and keep it to yourself. Or if you tell your partner, make it very clear that there was no way you would have actually gone out with this person. Try and have a laugh about it.

If you are not interested or don't want to be friends with that person, sure tell your partner and be ready to dump that friend BUT if you are interested or want to keep that friendship I say , "HELLL NOOOOO!"
