Speak for yourself....I am not annoyed by anyone who feels as though they are oppressed. Besides the fact I am not convinced that there are any more people still alive today who WERE slaves. At this point all we can do is be thankful that some things have changed and that many have survived and that the legacy of survival does not get lost in history!!!
To be oppressed and rise above it is a beautiful thing...it is also a long hard road!!! No matter what the oppressive force is ....to become personally victorious over oppression is victory!!

Wow. Slavery? it still happens. Here and all over the world. Forced to do other people's bidding..sad.
Domestic violence, child abuse and neglection? its horrible also.
It annoys me that I can't do much to help people who suffer from it. How can the thought of a small defenseless child locked in a closet , beaten and bruised annoy you....Obviously u are not much of a humanitarian. Its sad because u may one day find urself in a harsh situation and wished some one was compationate enough to lend u a shoulder to cry on...

Wow, that first answer was a little harsh, huh? Most oppressed people are annoying. They have nothing else but that crap to carry them. Most of those kinds of people need to be focused on getting off their *** and gettin something for themselves. I'm a minority and I don't waste my time complaining about oppression or "the man."
Now domestic violence, that's different. Women in those situations should not stay in them. They do then they cry out for help. PSHH! You know?!

How in the world do put Domestic violence, that happens every day and hurts women and children to Slavery. Slavery is EVIL but is not practiced in the civilized world
