Just because you live in an area where crime is up and respect is down doesn’t mean its like that everywhere I’m in the uk and because jail sentence times are record low here (eg.3 years for murder, true story) and yob culture is very popular it seems terrible, but you need perspective you need to go to live in a country that has the lowest crime rate and kids that just want to earn a living and support their family and then your opinion will completely change.
I’m thinking China for the long jail terms for criminals but that may back fire on me if I were to commit a crime, so I’m thinking Switzerland I don’t know the figures but I heard its much safer, so I say move!
As for the morals I say live and let live, if you don’t agree with porn don’t watch it but don’t stop people who do- freedom of choice and creativity make us alive and human. We choose our morals and lead by example but don’t force others to follow ours or be so arrogant to believe ours are right over any one else’s because you cant know (for example I don’t drink but my friends do), live and let live.
Cheer up have a cup of tea, that always helps me!

I am relatively young at 40 (I like to think so!) however, I cannot believe how much things have changed since I was young. I am not sure when I was very young that I fully understood the concept of respect but I can tell you that I understood right from wrong and was certainly scared of getting in trouble with parents, police, teachers etc. I think that it is a bit more closer to home than celebrities (we have always had those) it's the parents - people seem to be scared of todlers in this day and age - in case we upset little johnny by not giving him what he wants. I feel sorry for some young people - their lack of respect, social skills and empathy for others will mean they will not go far in their lives.

It does no longer do a rattling for the US financial device, of direction. the worldwide might appear as if North Korea as we communicate. airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust detrimental, all adult adult males the two detrimental. different than for the individuals's social gathering, this is. Communism does not even artwork in concept. It by no potential worked in authentic life without guard canines and barbed cord to fence the 'liberated human beings' firmly interior. those liberated human beings have been instructed the West stored human beings in bondage. life replaced into no the place so good as interior the U.S.. nevertheless, human beings knew they could no longer believe the papers and lots attempt to flee.

Well it does seem that society is worse. But in my opinion, I think society has always had its problems. As soon as one problem is resolved, another appears. Problems shift - they do not get better or they do not get worse. Lack of respect is a consequence of the move towards a more individualistic society.

Well, everyone in this day and age says society has got worse but people have said that for centuries. Did your granddad ever say 'in my day...!'

Everyone's society changes, whether it be for good or for worse. There's always karma. We have better medicine, education, living conditions so something has to suffer on the opposite end.

the romans put people in a ring to fight to the death and be raped by animals. horrid things went on before that and have continued ever since. we are no worse or no better than at any time in human history.
