Gilbert Arenas will win the All Star MVP. I think the game will be somewhat close and Arenas will show up as entertaining and be the guy who takes and makes the clutch shots for the East. Not to mention Eddie Jordan is coaching the East team and his familiarity with Arenas will get Gilbert's number called a few more times than normal.

Either Tracy McGrady, LeBron, or Kobe because those are the only three guys who are truly unstoppable. Plus, the backcourt matchups are 6 foot 6 Kobe and 6 foot 9 T-Mac against 6'4" Dwayne Wade and 6'4" Gilbert Arenas. After all, LeBron was MVP last year, T-Mac scored 37 last year, and Kobe is.... just Kobe.

Most likely candidate in my mind is D-Wade. He is all about winning, so I could see him just deciding to score at will - they don't put defenders in the all-star game (why do you think Bowen and Battier have never made it).
My dark horse pick would be Dwight Howard. He is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker, he actually plays defense! Also, he can score decently as well. Howard could make a game-saving defensive play and key rebounds to lock up the MVP.

Cmon seriously...no one wants to see anyone drop 50 pts in the AllStar game...its purpose is to have FUN, not score and showoff--so, the MVP will not be Kobe or Arenas. My guesses are T-mac, Wade, or Lebron

I see Carmelo winning MVP, especially if Iverson plays. AI will be looking to show his new teammate some love, and you know Carmelo is going to want to show some people that he should have made the team without Stern's help.
