You Kobe fans need to stop making accuses for your boy. The guy isn't great as what you guys think. It's okay to be a fan of Kobe but quit being bias when it comes to comparing him. The guy isn't anywhere near the best player in the league, best scorer, or best ever. Out of any era in basketball history, the best player/scorer in the league would never score only ONE point in the second half of a IMPORTANT PLAYOFF GAME 7. I don't care what you guys say, the BEST player in any era would of took over and either won or went down in a serious battle. If he tought it was already over and didn't have any faith, well that's heartless. MJ, Magic, Wilt, Bird, & etc. wouldn't of never & never performed like that in a game 7. If so, then prove it.....And the only reason why Kobe have rings is because of Shaq(3 time finals mvp), and quit saying Shaq wouldn't have none if it wasn't for Kobe. Because Shaq already has proven he could win without Kobe, Shaq has 1 without Kobe, remember?

Shaq does have one without Kobe but DWade is a SUPERSTAR in is own right, who doesn Kobe have, the closest thing is Lamar Odom and he's not at all star level yet. Nobody is making "accuses" as you say, or excuses as it should be, for Kobe, Kobe fans just state the facts! If he is not one of the best scorers, how can he win the scoring title last year and score 81 points. As far as being the best player, he is the most complete player as far as offense, defense, and all-around game. And no one is claiming him to be the best ever. Sometimes it's not about right now, it's about the future. If you knew that your team could not win the championship this year, but you knew that with a little experience and them knowing you trust them, that maybe you could in the future, wouldn't you take that chance. To put it in another term, why would you take 1000 dollars out the bank right now when you know it can turn into 1,000,000? He has 3 rings thanks to Shaq and Shaq has 4 rings, 3 of which are thanks to Kobe also. Maybe Kobe beat your favorite team in the past and you are hating him for it now but calm down man and go read the dictionary!

Dude do you realize how stupid you sound basign everything off of one game? People base things off of a career not one whole game. If that was the case I could also say Kobe is a top 5 player of all time for that 81 point game. It goes both ways. Kobe is by far the best player in the league and is a top 20 player of all time. I want you to keep in mind this is coming from someone who doesn't exactly llike Kobe so I'm not biased. I just watch Kobe play a lot unlike you. Nobody in this leage as of right now is on the same level as Kobe Bryant. Kobe is the best scorer in the NBA and a top 5 perimeter defender in the NBA. This guy has the biggest offensive arsenal in the NBA. He has so many moves that it is incredibly rare for him to have an off day scoring wise. If his shots aren't falling than he can just drive it to the hoop and vice versa. He has so many ways of scoring it's unbelievable. On defense he is definetly one of the top lockdown players in the NBA. Only two players can lockdown on a star player better than Kobe on defense and those two guys are Bruce Bowen and Ron Artest. Kobe also arguably has the most leadership in the NBA. Name on other player right now that could lead a team with a supporting cast like Kobe's into a team with one of the top records in the league especially when his 2nd option in Lamar Odom has been out half of the season. I doubt anybody could. As for abilities in the clutch, Kobe is as clutch as they come. I'm not basing that off of one game in the playoffs, but a whole career. He almost always shows up in the 4th and has the second most game winners in the NBA out of active players. Also yes Kobe was a huge help for LA getting the threepeat. Players don't win championships by themselves. If they did Allen Iverson would have a few by now. I'm not denying Shaq was the main reason for the rings, but without Kobe the Lakers would have have not won thos three straight rings. Also don't even try to give the Shaq won a ring w/o Kobe bs. Shaq had Dwyane Wade along his side and Wade was the one who did most of the work. All Shaq did was bring post presence down low but other than that he didn't do ****. I suggest you actually start watching Kobe instead of letting your obvious hate for him make you make totally biased posts.

Give Kobe a young player like Dwight Howard, like Shaq has Dwyane Wade. Kobe doesn't have the talent in L.A. that Shaq has had since leaving so don't use that excuse. Kobe didn't give up, he just wanted to allow his teammates a chance to shine just like Jordan did several times in the playoffs. Ask Craig Hodges, John Paxson and Steve Kerr. MJ with the Bulls like Kobe had to work his way up and into the playoffs without the help of other superstars, very similar to what the Lakers are doing in the past few years. Where as Wilt, Magic and Bird were on successful teams with other future hall of famers. You can't deny it, 81 points in one game, 3 rings with Shaq and he is arguably the most complete package in the game today. Time will tell, but I believe Kobe will win more rings with the Lakers.

Kobe is the best player in the NBA and nobody is close to his level. The only reason he only scored 1 point in the 2nd half was because he wanted to prove that the lakers would be NOTHING without him and for those who only say he got those rings because of shaq is wrong because he is carring his team right now with no other great or even decent player on his team. So stop hating on kobe becase he is the best and nobody can guard him.

first of all, as much as i would love to hate kobe, i gotta give him his props. hate him or love him, kobe is the best player in the nba by far! u can say that shaq got a ring without him but, he also had d wade who is also a great player which kobe does'nt have. now if u were to put yao ming with kobe, who's to say he would'nt have got a ring. one on one, kobe has proven that he is the best player in the league. he has stepped his game up by getting his teammates involved in the offense more, he has roven time and time again that when it comes down to the wire, he makes those big shots that are needed. that 1 game when he scored only 1 point in the second half, u cannot base his status off of that 1 game. let's not forget about the 81 points he scored regardless of who it was against. jordan did'nt even score 81! kobe is not my favorite player but, as a true basketball fan i know when to give a player his props.

i think the better questions here are:
1) why are kobe HATERS in denial?
and
2) why are you only using last year's playoffs as an "accuse" for your argument?
this is all coming from the same person who questioned who has more heart between kobe or wade and based that argument with the same lakers playoff loss. what do you have against kobe anyway? did he do something to you to make you hate him so much? kobe fans are not the ones in denial here, its YOU. you just cant seem to see the hard facts here about kobe's ENTIRE career, not just one game. sure they could have easily won that game, but it was ONE game. it wasnt his night and its okay because everybody has an off game. HE'S HUMAN! kobe is definitely one of the best in the nba RIGHT NOW... period. and thats the truth based on his stats this season plus his entire career. yes he has yet to win a ring without shaq, but the lakers is his team now and he will lead the very young team to the finals in no time. im a kobe fan but i certainly dont agree that he is better than MJ or any of the other greats, nor is he the best EVER. but as of right now, especially in this season how he's redefined himself, he is among the top five players in the league. and im not making excuses either... im giving you REASONS.

No, Shaq has one because of Wade. Shaq's been in the league longer and essentially backed into the finals with Houston, in which Hakeem the Dream totally dominated him.
