I was in a shared-use computer room. I logged on to Yahoo and saw the news report. What I assumed was that someone had hacked the Yahoo site and posted an obviously preposterous story. I knew for an absolute fact that steel framed skyscrapers do not fall down because aircraft fly into them (they don't and didn't). Then a colleague came in and told me that yes the situation was actually on-going.

I was listening to a morning radio talk show (The John Boy and Billy Big Show) on my way to work. If you've ever heard the show you"ll understand why I first thought it was a joke. Wow, I'd completely forgotten about that.

In bed.. I heard it at 6AM when my alarm clock went off (news channel)
Jumped out of bed turned on TV and was shocked. I was just there for St. Patricks day and had stood on the top taking photos...
Went back to NY 10-17-01 for business trip....boy it was horrible to see the metal wreckage still there.....

Working in the Dr's office. The secretary said something, and we all listened to the radio. We all thought it was terrorism, and then turned on a TV, and watched it all come down. Sad ~~~~

I was at work (I was in the Navy) at a Doctor's office. We watched the news with our patients in our tiny breakroom. We were told to go home and see our family, watch the news, and possibly be ready to be deployed.

At home. I had just woken up and turned on the T.V. and saw one of the towers on fire. I didn't think it was real at first. I thought it was a movie, because it seemed so unbelievable.

That day is one that I will never forget, I was laying in the bed getting ready to get up and go to school. It sucked.
